We are in awe and also a little intimidated by our family ‘project.’ It seems fanciful that in eight months we transformed the space from beloved ridge to a real live home. In the same breath, we are compiling an ever growing list of next steps: Windows/doors installed, wall plaster, roof metal, makeshift kitchen and bathroom, earthen floors..and more.
We are ever grateful to be the creators of our home and lives- to quite literally write our very own unique story… Real gifts are often paired with real work and we are pleased to receive!
As pictured, the dormer siding is on and papered. Celebration! We will await snowmelt before adding roof metal and other various things. Though we long to rest and rise at our new home, it will require a bit of Winter work beforehand.
